Wesley Neville is an IAI Certified Forensic Artist. Wesley is a Forensic Art trainer and a documented expert witness in Composite Drawing and Forensic Facial Model building. He has a substantial background in leadership and project development. Wesley served on the IAI Forensic Art Subcommittee and served as Chairman for the Forensic Art Certification board. He also served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Forensic Artist Certification Board for a period of time. For the past 15 years, Wesley works with the Department of Justice. Wesley served as a Lieutenant for the Florence County Sheriff’s Office in Effingham, SC., where he developed, maintained, and supervised the Forensic Art / Polygraph section. While there, he completed hundreds of composite drawings as well as a large number of facial approximation sculptures. Wesley was also a licensed Polygraph Operator in the state of SC performing approximately 450 examinations. Wesley has over 30 years of Law Enforcement experience; where he was a certified law enforcement officer in South Carolina and Florida. Wesley is a veteran of the United States Navy., and possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. For over 20 years, Wesley studies and is involved in the ever-changing and developing techniques within the field of Forensic Art. Through his involvement with professional individuals, associations, and organizations, along with his intense passion for his work, he has developed and honed his own unique techniques in Forensic Art. Wesley was a co-instructor at the FBI’s Forensic Facial Imaging Course at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA; Additionally, Wesley conducts workshops and Lectures at organizations and conferences across the country. His work features on Fox News, CNN, PBS, AMW, and local news agencies, and utilized by agencies around the world. Wesley’s work is published in the Journal of Forensic Science and various other Scientific and Law Enforcement Journals and publications.
