Demonstrative Evidence<\/b>: any visible, physical\u00a0evidence<\/b>\u00a0used in legal proceedings. These are used to demonstrate aspects of the case, reconstruct an event, and illustrate what happened. There are two categories of\u00a0demonstrative evidence<\/b>; court displays and investigative aids.<\/span>

Demonstrative Evidence is basically any investigative aid or visual props that may be utilized in court; normally, to help visually explain the case at hand. These may include 3D models, crime scene illustrations, trial displays, or forensic animations\/re-enactments. The displays may be hand drawn, or computer generated.<\/span><\/p>

A well designed and laid out courtroom display will add a degree of professionalism when presented to the jury. Words can be just words when a witness is testifying; however, when those words are backed by a visual aid, the case will become much clearer to the jury.<\/span><\/p>
